A Korean Taekwondo team will play a exhibition event in Yangon soon, reported Myanma Alinn which cited an official of Myanmar Taekwon Federation.
The event is aimed at improving friendly relations between Myanmar and South Korea, Zaw Win, secretary of the federation, told Myanma Alinn.
The event entitled “Wonderful Taekwondo! Beautiful Korea!” will take place in Theinbyu Stadium in Yangon on August 10 evening.
It was organized by Myanmar Taekwondo Federation and World Taekwondo Peace Corps Foundation.
A K-Pop band will accompany the Taekwondo exhibition team at the performance.
“A famous Taekown team and a K-Pop band will perform,” U Zaw Win said in a press conference in Central Hotel.
The South Korean Taekwondo team is the winners of Taekwondo exhibition contests for two successive years in 2011 and 2012.
They will exhibit Poomsae, Kyuk Pa and Sparring talents.
The K-Pop band will perform many famous K-Pop songs and Korean traditional songs.
